Job Summary:
The Medical Technologist II is a key member of our laboratory team at Northside Hospital Inc., responsible for developing and monitoring test systems, and performing and interpreting laboratory tests for the diagnosis and care of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor test systems to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Perform and interpret laboratory tests for the diagnosis and care of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility for an appropriate certification examination.
- One (1) year experience in a clinical laboratory.
- Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
- Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 6:30AM-3PM with rotating weekends.
