Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting parts, assemblies, products and/or materials for quality, defects, appearance, finishes, variance, and operation through specification or by visual comparison methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use fixed or variable measuring instruments to inspect parts, products and/or processes, to ensure conformance with standards.
  • Perform compliance verifications of incoming supplier materials.
  • Fulfill inspection sheets and ready approved parts for assembly.
  • Demonstrate experience with reading and understanding engineering drawings, models, work instructions and specifications.
  • Relay data found to the Quality Engineer, who then makes any necessary decisions.
  • Have good problem-solving and troubleshooting approach.
  • Be collaborative and team-oriented.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical school and/or minimum 3 years' experience and/or training.
  • Combination of education and experience considered.
  • Training and application of measurement using hand tools.
  • Experience with GD&T/blueprint reading to identify features to be measured, and type of instruments best suited for those measurements.
Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Outlook.
  • SAP a plus.
