Job Title: Senior Lecturer

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Lecturer to join our team at the West Florida Research and Education Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in natural resource conservation and plant science, as well as advising students and developing policies to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate courses in natural resource conservation and plant science
  • Advise students and develop policies to support student success
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students
  • Participate in university committees and contribute to the development of academic programs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or doctorate in natural resources or a closely related field
  • Minimum of five years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication, and interpersonal relationships
  • Commitment to the mission of the Land-Grant system and the University of Florida
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in natural resources or a closely related field
