Job Overview

The Logistics Warehouse Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient management of inventory and the seamless flow of materials within the warehouse environment. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and transfer goods without causing damage.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of items and proper stocking in designated locations.
  • Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Handle Will Calls promptly and accurately.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and transaction entries in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniform during shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment, conducting pre and post-shift inspections of forklifts.
  • Assist customers and customer service representatives as needed.
  • Follow established operating procedures and company policies diligently.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

  • Possesses foundational knowledge typically acquired through relevant education.
  • Work is closely monitored with structured assignments.
  • Challenges encountered are generally straightforward.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Capability to efficiently process loading and unloading tasks.
  • Proficient in safe forklift operation in a dynamic warehouse setting.
  • Must pass required assessments for forklift certification within a specified timeframe.
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to work instructions and policies.
  • Dependable team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Competency:

  • Preferred: 1+ years of industrial forklift experience.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse setting.

Education/Certification:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory.

People Management: None

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Warehouse Manager
