Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Lenoir, North Carolina. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging, patient preparation, and post-procedure care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound imaging and patient preparation for cardiovascular procedures
  • Conduct post-procedure care and ensure patient safety
  • Set up and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and quality monitoring
  • Assist with post-procedure transport and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in staff training and education, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field within 3 months of hire
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire
