Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 CHR Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 CHR to join our team at Providence Health & Service. As a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 CHR, you will be responsible for providing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and electrical safety inspections on patient medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards for equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
