Job Summary:
The CT Technologist provides comprehensive care to patients requiring CT imaging services in a systematic and organized manner, adhering to departmental policy and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide CT imaging services to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain patient records and communicate with patients and families regarding imaging results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Completion of a radiology program approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- 1-2 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
- NJ Radiology License and valid ARRT certification.
- BLS-AHA certification.
- Ability to acquire CT Scan certification within 1 year of employment.
