We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the position of Chief of Hospitalist Medicine. This role is pivotal in managing a vibrant team of hospitalists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the operational excellence of our hospitalist program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain medical operations in line with hospitalist standards and clinical best practices.
- Implement and uphold evidence-based medical policies to enhance patient safety and treatment reliability.
- Assess and evaluate the performance of hospitalist physicians, focusing on professional development and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with the Department of Medicine for performance evaluations and physician appointments.
- Review feedback regarding program performance and physician conduct, providing constructive insights to the hospitalist team.
- Manage patient assessment activities, utilization reviews, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Conduct regular reviews of patient records to ensure documentation quality and appropriateness of care.
- Provide education to hospitalists on proper patient encounter documentation and coding practices.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess an MD/DO or equivalent degree and be board eligible in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine.
