Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Lunchroom Supervisor will oversee students in the lunchroom and adjacent areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to enforce policies and behavior standards, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in the lunchroom and adjacent areas, enforcing MPS policies and behavior standards.
  • Clean and maintain the food service and dining areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Assist with preparing and packaging food, as needed.
  • Support other MPS staff as requested, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues, client records, and District information.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Some customer service work experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MPS policies and procedures.
  • Safety and sanitation practices for maintaining and cleaning food distribution and storage areas.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in various MPS food preparation and distribution facilities.
