Custodial Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial/General Cleaner to join our team at Atkins Inc. as a part-time evening cleaner. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our designated area, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

• Empty trash cans, ash trays, and other waste receptacles into refuse collection bags.
• Dust, damp wipe, and/or spot clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces, including desks, table tops, chairs, filing cabinets, bookshelves, telephone instruments, computer equipment, walls, light switches, partitions, doors, and mirrors.
• Vacuum and/or dust/mop all office area floors and baseboards.
• Clean restrooms, including pre-spraying disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, re-supplying soap, tissue, towels, and feminine hygiene dispensers, cleaning vents, dusting walls, doors, and partitions, removing trash, cleaning and wiping dry fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, and spot washing walls, doors, and partitions.
• Sweep and/or wet mop floors.
• Make note of any mechanical and/or electrical malfunctions and report to the supervisor.
• Ensure all lights are out and appropriate doors are locked when leaving an area.
• Keep janitor closets clean, neat, and orderly.
• Return all cleaning materials and supplies to the storeroom and refill items as needed at the end of the shift.

This is a part-time position working evenings, Monday to Friday, 6pm-10pm.
