Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.


Shift Details: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:20 PM


Work Environment: This position is situated in a food production and warehouse environment. The flooring is concrete, and the noise level is moderate without vibrations. Material handling occurs throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company policies, GMP, and safety regulations to ensure compliance with HACCP, AIB, and other regulatory standards.
  • Implement all food safety principles and legal obligations.
  • Conduct all product handling tasks within a packaging work-cell, including stacking, counting, packaging, sealing, and placing bags in trays or boxes.
  • Verify code dates, sealing integrity, product weight, and appearance to ensure they meet specified standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure that trays, pallets, and boxes meet established criteria.
  • Confirm that equipment is functioning properly and report any deficiencies to management.
  • Perform visual inspections of products to guarantee quality standards are met.
  • Assist in training new staff as needed.
  • Oversee the efficiency of bagging machine operations.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment, including making adjustments to raw products and seasoning machinery.
  • Coordinate with the packing and stacking team for break coverage.
  • Ensure cleanliness and order in both packaging and kitchen areas.
  • Maintain accuracy in documentation.
  • Comply with OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Report any safety concerns to management or the Safety Committee.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Effective communication skills for exchanging information.
  • Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderately heavy items as required by the role.
  • Dexterity to operate bagging equipment effectively.
  • Ability to reach overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally.
  • Flexibility to bend at the waist, kneel, or crouch.
  • Visual acuity to monitor food quality and quantity.
  • Capacity to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
