The Sales Territory Executive plays a crucial role in enhancing company profitability by nurturing existing clients and onboarding new distributors to align with business capabilities.
In this position, a thorough assessment of the assigned territory, coupled with the cultivation of potential clients through a strategic business plan, will facilitate productive discussions.
The Sales Territory Executive is tasked with achieving sales objectives by overseeing sales within a specified region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep management updated on sales activities and competitor movements.
- Maintain transparent communication across all departments.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all GFS products, articulating their functions, value, and unique selling points to meet customer needs.
- Demonstrate the ability to present GFS products confidently, highlighting features, benefits, and the overall value proposition.
- Identify current and future customer requirements and communicate these effectively to create a demand for products.
- Recognize negotiation tactics employed by clients and utilize this insight to secure deals at optimal pricing.
- Maintain relationships with current clients while exploring new sales avenues within the designated territory.
- Prepare annual territory budgets and business plans aimed at meeting financial targets, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Oversee sales performance metrics, including distributor effectiveness, product line sales volume, and market sales.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring a minimum of six months of projected sales is consistently maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
