Key Responsibilities:
Includes the following core responsibilities (additional duties may also be assigned):

  • You will spearhead the design and implementation of AI/ML strategies within Supermicro's Cloud Orchestrator product.

Team Leadership:
Oversee a team of AI developers and solution engineers, promoting collaboration and providing mentorship.

Innovation:
Champion innovation in the integration of end-to-end AI lifecycle and ML-Ops processes, covering data acquisition, preparation, model development, deployment, and monitoring.

Research & Development:
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, implementing state-of-the-art solutions.

  • Ensure the quality, reliability, scalability, and security of AI/ML solutions and platforms.
  • Cultivate a culture of learning, experimentation, and excellence within the AI/ML team and the broader organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Supermicro's partners, to identify business needs and requirements, propose technical solutions, and lead the implementation of selected solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing AI/ML and ML-Ops systems in a commercial setting.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, and React.
  • Familiarity with data processing and storage technologies like Postgres, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Proven experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras, PySpark, etc.
  • Significant experience with cloud computing platforms: Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Proven experience with MLOps tools: Kubeflow, MLflow, TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to guide a team of technical professionals.

Salary Range: $154,000 - $215,000. The offered salary will depend on various factors, including location, experience level, education, training, specific skills, and comparisons to other employees in similar roles. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
