We are seeking a skilled Lead Lineman to join our team at Otter Tail. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising, directing and working with a crew to erect, install, maintain or repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems and substations. Key responsibilities include supervising crew members, performing tasks such as stringing, sagging and splicing conductors, trimming trees and replacing equipment. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of electric line and underground construction, maintenance and repair, and be able to work outdoors in any weather condition. Additionally, they will have excellent leadership qualities, be able to plan, supervise and work with people and tools, and have a good understanding of mechanical equipment used in the trade.
