Job Overview

The Culinary Specialist is responsible for the preparation and presentation of meals, including specialized dietary options tailored to individual needs, in accordance with the established menu of the facility.

This role involves cooking in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by the organization. The Culinary Specialist works under the guidance of the Dining Services Director or Chef to ensure that exceptional dining experiences are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and serve meals that meet the dietary requirements of residents.
  2. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed.
  3. Assist in training and supervising Dietary Aides as needed.
  4. Support the Dining Services team in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

The Culinary Specialist should possess strong attention to detail, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Work Schedule: Full-time positions are available for both day and evening shifts, providing flexibility in work hours.
