Job Summary

As an Ultrasound Technologist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs using advanced ultrasound equipment. Your primary goal will be to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and studying organ malfunctions by selecting the appropriate equipment and technical factors for each examination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs
  • Select the correct transducer and technical factors for each examination
  • Assure that all images are of diagnostic quality and include all required demographic information
  • Coordinate with physicians to review requisitions and ensure that the correct examination is completed
  • Document patient orders and charges accurately in the Meditech Computer System
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and patient flow to ensure timely completion of examinations
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or Radiology Technology
  • Previous experience performing ultrasound procedures is preferred
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) registration in Ultrasound Technology required
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department, interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. You will be required to maintain a safe environment for patients and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
