Job Overview

Work Schedule: Opportunities available for both full-time and part-time positions across various shifts:

  • 6 AM - 2 PM
  • 2 PM - 10 PM
  • 10 PM - 6 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to ensure exceptional care and service for residents.
  • Deliver essential support with daily living activities while fostering emotional wellness.
  • Develop individualized recreation care plans under the guidance of the Director.
  • Implement and uphold proper infection control protocols.
  • Work alongside Life Enrichment teams to offer companionship and engagement for residents.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties.
  • Perform organizational tasks including documentation and management of medical supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly with elderly individuals and their families.
  • Demonstrated compassion and dedication to providing care for senior residents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with elderly or memory-impaired individuals.
  • Background in customer service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Potential exposure to unpleasant odors, contagious diseases, and bloodborne pathogens.
  • Exposure to pet hair and dander in a pet-friendly environment.
