Sugarbush Resort is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead the team at Rumble's Bistro and Bar, our premier restaurant located at the base of the mountain at Lincoln Peak. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving business success.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective floor plans to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate seating charts and manage daily administrative tasks.
- Provide on-the-job training to FOH servers and support team members.
- Resolve staffing issues and guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and leadership skills.
- Ensure proper service etiquette is executed by all staff and provide training as needed.
- Delegate tasks effectively and maintain open communication with the team.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and product management to optimize profitability.
- Execute large group events and maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Uphold Alterra Mountain Company core values and promote a positive work environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated with a positive attitude.
- POS and administrative experience, including Microsoft Office and reservation system knowledge.
- Possession of a valid food handler's license and VT Liquor certification.
- Knowledge of different restaurant POS systems and previous experience working in a high-volume food service setting.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
