We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team at LER TechForce. As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded systems for trailer-based HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed analysis of CAN network issues, including voltage drops and signal integrity problems, using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of J1939 sub-standards (J1939-1x, J1939-2x, J1939-3x) and differentiate between J1939 flavors for off-truck and towed trailer applications, focusing on ISO 11898 and ISO 11992.
  • Develop controls-oriented models for HVAC systems, including refrigeration and power electronics. Propose and implement modeling changes to support software tools.
  • Stay updated with advancements in CAN network technology and propose process improvements for enhanced reliability.
  • Maintain records of network issues and provide comprehensive reports and recommendations for system improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and software developers, to address network issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in embedded engineering with a focus on CAN network analysis. Experience with hardware and software development is key.
  • Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting CAN networks, including physical layer and signal integrity. Familiarity with J1939 sub-standards.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across various protocol layers.
