Position Overview:
Podiatrist - DPM - Spartanburg, SC
KG Health Partners is seeking a dedicated and licensed Podiatrist to join our expanding mobile podiatric practice in South Carolina, specifically in the Spartanburg area. This role involves providing essential podiatric care to patients in long-term care settings.
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts required. Our practice ensures coverage for malpractice insurance, medical supplies, and travel expenses. Compensation is structured based on productivity, including a salary and RVU bonus system.

Key Responsibilities:
Travel within the designated South Carolina territory to provide podiatric services to patients in contracted long-term care facilities.
Evaluate foot and ankle conditions and formulate treatment plans.
Diagnose and manage disorders, diseases, and injuries affecting the foot and lower leg.
Administer treatment for complex diabetic foot infections based on established protocols.
Provide general podiatric care for conditions such as hallux valgus, hammer toes, and ankle instability.
Prescribe physical medicine and therapy as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of care and treatments provided.
Communicate effectively with facility administration regarding patient conditions.
Engage in outreach initiatives, including conferences and community events.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program. Board Certified or Board Qualified Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM).
Licenses and Certifications:
Active medical license to practice in South Carolina.
Current Medicare number.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in using a Windows-based computer system.
Physical Demands:
This position requires travel. While performing job duties, the employee will frequently drive and may need to maintain communication with clients. The role may involve repetitive motions such as typing and data entry, as well as prolonged periods of sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.KG123
