MedStar Health seeks a skilled Medical Simulation Trainer to facilitate experiential learning in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise and be able to share knowledge with participants, while also providing guidance and supervision during simulation scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate debriefing sessions with participants to discuss learning outcomes and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with educators and leaders to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive learning experience.
- Develop and implement simulation scenarios as needed.
- Provide feedback and evaluation of participant performance.
- Attend team meetings to stay informed about program developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- BSN degree required for nursing applicants.
- 3-4 years recent inpatient obstetric and/or neonatal clinical experience required.
- 3-4 years education/preceptor and/or simulation experience required.
- RN licensure (State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure) upon hire is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with multi-disciplinary teams.
Compensation:
Competitive salary range: $87,318 - $157,289
