Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, patient, and compassionate individual to provide home care assistance to adults and seniors in the Chatham County area. As a Home Senior Caregiver, you will provide personal care, companionship, and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provides personal care to the client, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provides continuous companionship for the client while on duty, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Assists in meal planning, purchases of foods, and food preparation, ensuring that clients receive nutritious and delicious meals.
  • Cleans the kitchen after meals and maintains a clean and healthy environment.
  • Observes the client's general physical, emotional, and mental conditions, and reports any changes to the Coordinator.
  • Keeps accurate records of all activity while in the client's home.
  • Provides a sense of security for the client and protects them from any harm resulting from their illness.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of caregiving experience.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and reliability.
  • Valid Driver's License REQUIRED.
  • Personal, reliable transportation to and from shifts.
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Comply with all agency policies.
