We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Lamar CISD (TX). As a key member of our special education department, you will play a vital role in providing individualized, high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver ABA services to students under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and document data on student behavior and progress
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans and provide training to staff
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure effective communication and support
- Maintain certification and training requirements, including RBT and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 30 credited college hours preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician credential required
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Eligible for coverage under the District's vehicle insurance program
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain emotional control under stress, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and reliability.
