Electrical Supervisor

Overview:

CoolSys is a leading provider of refrigeration and HVAC systems, and we're seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of electricians and ensuring the successful installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of electricians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
• Determine the type and cost of materials required for projects
• Ensure specifications and drawings are accurate and review projects and plans
• Install, repair, and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components
• Operate electrical testing equipment to locate and determine types of electrical malfunctions
• Study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations
• Repair and maintain high voltage systems
• Train and supervise apprentices
• Troubleshoot, test, and repair emergency generators and various electrical systems and power distribution systems

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of work experience as an electrician
• Electrician apprenticeship
• License as a Journeyman or Electrician preferred to meet state requirements
• A High School Diploma is required; prefer some trade or technical school classes
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Knowledge of electrical applications for high and low-voltage electric systems
• Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components
• Ability to work with a crew
• Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of commercial construction industry-related products and tools
• Skill in both verbal and written communication
