Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead our Neuro Oncology team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit during your designated shift.

Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will:

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to develop and implement nursing strategies that promote teamwork and improved outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve staff engagement and productivity, including training and development programs.
  • Manage staff schedules and labor resources to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
