Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Platform Engineering: Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure, including Azure Core Services, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Continuous Delivery: Develop and implement continuous delivery frameworks and tools, manage the lifecycle of platform components, and support product teams.
  • Team Leadership: Lead engineering practices around test-driven and continuous delivery of infrastructure, and collaborate with solution architecture, platform engineering, and product teams.
  • Scalability and Performance: Evaluate performance trends, establish scalability plans, and identify and troubleshoot availability and performance issues.
  • Policies and Governance: Recommend and maintain Azure policies, governance, cost management guidance, and guardrails.
Requirements
  • IT Experience: 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, including server, storage, network, security, and identity.
  • Azure Experience: 4+ years of experience building, maintaining, and automating Azure environments in enterprise environments.
  • IaC Tools: 3+ years of experience with IaC tools, including ARM, Terraform, JSON, PowerShell, and GitHub.
  • Certifications: Azure Administrator (required), Azure DevOps (preferred), and Azure Solutions Architect (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enterprise-scale Architecture: Hands-on experience deploying Azure Enterprise-scale reference architecture and its components.
  • Full-stack Cloud Engineering: Experience in full-stack cloud infrastructure engineering, operations, and application knowledge.
  • Agile and DevOps: Ability to work in an Extreme Programming environment and work in a paired programming/engineering model.
  • Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in Windows/Linux/VMware/Hyper-V/AKS, SQL and N0-SQL DB's, IaaS, PaaS, FaaS, Data, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Identity, and Connectivity.
