About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Professional to join our team at Jax Spine & Pain Centers. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and Analyze Patient Charts: Thoroughly review patient charts, schedules, medical records, and other documentation to ensure accurate and comprehensive care.
  • Prepare and Maintain Clinical Environment: Prepare and maintain all aspects of the clinic environment, including ensuring a therapeutic and sanitary environment with fully stocked medical supplies and functional equipment.
  • Communicate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate effectively with all departments, including Scheduling, Billing, and other internal departments and personnel, to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as assigned, including cultivating a nurturing atmosphere of courtesy, compassion, respect, empathy, dignity, and optimism in all interpersonal interactions.
  • Administer Medications and Procedures: Administer IM injections, collect urine specimens, and perform pregnancy tests as needed, while ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
  • Report and Document Patient Information: Report, document, and record relevant information about the patient's condition, treatment, expectations, and progress.
Requirements:
  • Experience and Education: 1+ years of experience as a medical assistant, RN, or LPN is preferred. In lieu of experience, graduating from an accredited RN or LPN program is acceptable.
  • Certifications and Training: Must maintain current CPR certificate and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge required and able to measure and record vital signs, manually and electronically.
