About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our Information Technology Department operations, programs, and services in the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day activities of the department, ensuring efficient and effective technical support and superior customer service to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the department's operations, programs, and services to meet the needs of the community.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve IT services and infrastructure.
- Provide leadership and direction to department staff, including supervision, training, and evaluation.
- Maintain relationships with external partners, including other government agencies, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of department operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Master's degree in a related field or project management certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $95,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The City-County of Butte-Silver Bow offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, and paid time off.
