Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Specialist to join our team on a 3rd shift position. The ideal candidate will assist with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment within the factory as well as any maintenance of the building and grounds. This role reports to the Plant Engineer and requires a minimum of seven (7) years experience.

• Troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
• Diagnose and analyze difficult operating malfunctions and prioritize major, extensive, or emergency repairs
• Use electrical test equipment as needed for repair and troubleshooting.
• Assist in setting up predictive and preventative maintenance programs and perform timely equipment inspections to insure proper operation and safety compliance of manufacturing equipment.
• Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.
• Participate in continuous improvement in safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Communicate maintenance situations from one shift to another, including Plant Engineer
• Familiar with OSHA safety practices.

• High School Diploma is required. Associates degree or training from Vocational school preferred.
• A minimum of seven (7) years experience in maintenance and machinist functions.

This is a full-time opportunity with an estimated salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
