Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Treatment Physicist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring. As a Therapeutic Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in providing quality care to our patients by delivering medical physics services that meet or exceed State of Florida and Federal requirements.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of clinical radiation therapy physics experience and be licensed as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist in the State of Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the linear accelerator maintenance program through service engineers.
  • Participate in and oversee all aspects of the information technology program related to radiation oncology.
  • Develop new programs and technologies such as information management, treatment planning, and new modalities.
  • Remodel existing sites, develop and evaluate shielding designs, clinical treatment programs, and technologies.
  • Assist in physics coverage of other Florida Hospital Radiation Oncology locations as directed by Chief Therapy Physicist.
