POSITION:
Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Health)

TYPE:
Part Time/Per Diem

LOCATION:
Various areas

COMPENSATION:
Competitive per visit rates along with mileage reimbursements

Charting Efficiency:
Streamlined dictation process for improved work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop tailored treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population.
- Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech issues.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding speech disorders and their origins, including disabilities and trauma.
- Maintain comprehensive records related to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
- Communicate updates and current status to relevant parties, including family members and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Compassionate and attentive, with the ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under a licensed professional.
- Active California Speech & Language Pathologist license.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in the field.
- Strong knowledge of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in computer use, particularly with healthcare databases.
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
- CPR Certification.
- Competent in completing EMR documentation promptly.
