We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Swedish Cancer Institute. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care services, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and providing top-notch customer service to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Obtain and verify insurance information, process referrals and authorizations, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field; certification in Medical Terminology or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of experience in patient access, oncology, or related field; strong understanding of healthcare regulations and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
