Job Title: HVAC Parts Changer

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Parts Changer to join our team at J&W Heating and Air. As an HVAC Parts Changer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by performing routine maintenance on residential heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with a crew on general parts changing and maintenance, utilizing practical skills and knowledge to ensure efficient and high-quality results.
  • Complete in-home maintenance calls on HVAC equipment, establishing strong customer rapport and effectively communicating with customers to explain heating and cooling system maintenance.
  • Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans, while understanding and exceeding sales criteria and revenue goals.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and knowledge to earn referrals and gain repeat business, working alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure the business's overall success.
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck, participating actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats.
  • Submit invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and options sheets, adhering to company standards and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Experience with maintenance of HVAC equipment, including knowledge of local HVAC codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
  • Proven track record in heating and cooling systems, with a continued education and training commitment to obtain NATE certification.
  • Clean, safe driving record, with a groomed, neat appearance and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with high integrity and advanced social skills to make solid connections.
  • Motivated, self-starter with a great attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
