Responsibilities:
  • Assess and address the emotional and financial commitments of prospective clients.
  • Consult with new clients to identify their difficulties and resources.
  • Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide talk therapy and model adaptive behaviors to promote healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Record symptomology and treatment outcomes to inform future interventions.
  • Write medical and referral notes as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor within the last 36 months.
  • Proficiency in multiple local languages is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering culturally congruent treatment.
  • Strong community orientation.
  • Empathic and sensitive approach to fostering healing.
  • Valid and current CPR certification.
  • Required licenses, permits, and certifications in the state of California.
