We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
- Maintain the pharmacy in compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
- Oversee the entire pharmacy operation to achieve financial goals, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Participate in business development activities in the store and community.
- Manage pharmacy support personnel, including job performance and reviews.
- Guide and train pharmacy associates, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Ensure completion of all company-required training by pharmacy associates.
- Participate in patient-centered services, including immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and medical providers on the nature and use of drugs, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects, monitoring patient health to ensure compliance and optimize therapies.
- Maintain and participate in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
- Use professional judgment to provide exemplary service within the pharmacist's scope of practice.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to company standards at all times.
- Maintain department facilities consistent with legal and company standards.
- Complete continuing education programs as required by state law.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- License: NY Licensed Pharmacist
- Immunization Certification (Required)
- Must be comfortable giving all vaccines (Required)
