In this role, you will implement an approved recreational program designed to help patients cultivate interpersonal relationships and build the confidence necessary to engage in group activities.

Role Responsibilities:


Develop individualized care plans with clear, measurable goals, objectives, and interventions tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Contribute to the treatment planning process by providing insights to nursing and program staff to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions.
Guide nursing staff in conducting activity-related groups.
Participate in treatment team meetings, offering input on patients' Activity Therapy objectives.

Qualifications:

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Recreational, Music, or Art Therapy, or a related field. Licensure or certification as per state practice regulations. CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment. Experience: Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, particularly with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients is preferred.
