About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Professional to join our Family Medicine team at Newaygo Rehab. As a valued member of our team, you will provide clinical support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for visits or admissions, providing specific services and education as determined by providers, and maintaining accurate electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services.
  • Facilitate efficient patient flow, including preparation for visits or admissions and provision of necessary services and education.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and perform administrative duties to ensure current and updated information.
  • Clean and maintain a safe environment, work area, equipment, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program.
  • One year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting (preferred).
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA), such as AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 120 days.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. This compensation package includes regular pay increases and opportunities for professional growth.

Location and Work Schedule

This role is located at Newaygo Rehab, 211 W Pine Lake Dr, Newaygo, MI. The scheduled hours are 36 hours per week, from Tuesday to Friday, between 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., with no weekend shifts.
