Are you ready to join the Schweitzer Mountain Resort team as a Snow Tubing Crew Member? We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to operate all Hermit's Hollow operations with a focus on guests' safety and enjoyment.

About the Job

This is a winter seasonal, part-time position that requires working weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tow operation, shoveling, reservations, and sales while maintaining and working closely with other departments such as Activity Center, Lift Maintenance, and Patrol.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain a friendly and outgoing attitude at all times.
  • Operate and maintain rope tow, tubes, and tubing lanes safely and efficiently.
  • Promote safety among guests by enforcing rules and regulations.
  • Assist and coach guests through their adventures, providing a positive experience.
  • Work closely with other staff to provide excellent customer service and create a great guest experience.
  • Operate a sales till accurately and consistently handle cash transactions.
  • Keep work areas and merchandise clean and presentable.
  • Become knowledgeable of Schweitzer Mountain facilities and services.
Requirements
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be 19 years of age (modified position may be available for 17-18 years of age).
  • Post job offer/pre-employment background check required.

Working Conditions
  • Will walk/stand over uneven snow-covered surfaces up to 10 hours.
  • Will lift, pull, or push up to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level frequently.
  • Worksite exposed to all moisture levels and temperature changes.
