Job Summary

Stewart's Shops is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks in our shops, including diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and HVAC units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our refrigeration and HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and repair issues with refrigeration and HVAC units
  • Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electric work as needed
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
