The Tax and Assurance Learning Leader will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid model from any of our office locations or remotely within the United States.

In this pivotal role, the Tax and Assurance Learning Leader will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of continuous learning and development across service lines while establishing robust relationships with stakeholders. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement engaging and innovative learning solutions that align with business objectives. By working closely with these experts, you will foster influential partnerships throughout the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with service line leadership to comprehend strategic goals and align learning initiatives accordingly.
  • Provide consultative support to service line leadership on matters related to learning and development.
  • Conduct needs assessments to create training that fulfills specific learning objectives and accreditation standards.
  • Suggest suitable instructional methods based on audience and logistical considerations.
  • Uphold instructional design standards, refresh visual elements, and explore enhancements to improve the interactivity of learning experiences that facilitate knowledge retention.
  • Communicate effectively with subject matter experts to ensure all educational offerings providing CPE credits adhere to NASBA design standards and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and repositories for all course materials.
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to introduce innovative practices into the team's course offerings and services.
  • Research and adopt new delivery technologies that enhance learner engagement and effectiveness.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in operations, reduce turnaround times, streamline processes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality client service.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Analyze data on learning outcomes to demonstrate the effectiveness of training solutions on the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in learning and development, ideally within the tax and assurance sector.
  • Practical knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories, including ADDIE.
  • Awareness of trends and best practices in the tax and assurance industry.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with all organizational levels and key stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in performance management and team leadership is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Proficiency in various learning technologies, including Camtasia, SnagIt, Articulate, Vyond, and Conferences i/o.
  • Extensive experience with Learning Management Systems and Virtual Classroom tools.
  • Facilitation experience.
  • CPA license preferred, meeting the educational requirements of relevant regulatory bodies.
