Occupational Therapist Assistant

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support licensed Occupational Therapists in a school setting. As a COTA, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of students with various physical and developmental challenges.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in conducting assessments to identify physical and developmental challenges, under the supervision of licensed OTs.
- Support the creation of individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, client goals, and OT guidance.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions as directed by licensed OTs, encompassing occupational therapy services tailored to student needs.
- Apply various tools and techniques to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide support and education on occupational therapy matters.
- Assist in monitoring student progress, documenting treatment outcomes, and reporting findings to licensed OTs.
**Requirements:**
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or a related field.
- Valid and active state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
- Preferred previous experience working as a COTA or in a related role.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in occupational therapy.
- Ability to work under the supervision of licensed OTs and collaborate effectively within a team.
