St. Luke's University Health Network, the region's largest and most established health system, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our growing network and expand patient care at our newly renovated Palmerton Pediatrics Practice.

The Palmerton practice is a small, community-based practice with a strong reputation for providing high-quality care. The practice is located in a newly renovated facility and is co-located with a St. Luke's OB/GYN practice and other outpatient services. The office also provides lactation support to new mothers through St. Luke's Baby & Me program.

Our Department of Pediatrics is growing and expanding our services. We are seeking providers who are excited about growth and new opportunities.

Practice Highlights:

  • Our practice utilizes a nurse triage team during and after clinic hours to reduce calls to providers after hours.
  • We have strong support from services available through St. Luke's Children's Hospital, including a robust ED, inpatient, and specialty support.
  • We offer embedded lactation support services for new mothers and co-location with a St. Luke's OB/GYN office.

Pediatric Department/Network Highlights Include:

  • We are proud to be a member of the Children's Hospital Association and have established St. Luke's Children's Hospital at St. Luke's Bethlehem Campus.
  • Our Children's Hospital and Department of Pediatrics consist of inpatient, neonatal, emergency medicine, specialty, and primary care providers spread across various practice locations.
  • We have a robust base of family practice providers throughout the St. Luke's service area in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Our Children's Hospital is home to a newly renovated 17-bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit and 8-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
  • We have a new Pediatric Emergency Department, a 6-bed unit located within St. Luke's Children's Hospital, which will expand to 11 beds upon completion of an ongoing construction project.
  • We have a growing team of pediatric specialists spanning 40 specialty areas, including pediatric surgery, GI, endocrinology, nephrology, developmental pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, dermatology, psychiatry, pulmonology, radiology, anesthesia, orthopedics, plastic surgery, and more.
  • Our pediatric nephrology practice continues to grow due to a strong referral network of numerous pediatric primary care practices and family practice offices.
  • We have a growing OB department with 5,000 deliveries per year.
  • We have a Surgical Level III NICU located at St. Luke's Children's Hospital, Bethlehem Campus, PA, and other NICU units at various St. Luke's campuses.
  • We have a robust 12-hospital network spread over a diverse geographic area, providing emergency care for over 320,000 patients annually.
