We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the University of Minnesota Physicians in Minneapolis, MN.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of laryngologists and speech-language pathologists to provide high-quality evaluation and treatment for patients with voice disorders, airway, cough, and gender-affirming care.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with voice complaints, transgender and non-binary voice and resonance issues, and other problems of the upper aerodigestive tract.
  • Collaborate with laryngologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in education, outreach, and research activities related to laryngeal and related disorders.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited graduate program.
  • Successful completion of relevant ASHA-approved clinical fellowship.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) in good standing.
  • Licensed or ability to acquire Minnesota Licensure.
  • Meets threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal experience with vocal performance (spoken and/or sung) and/or vocology.
  • Experience with special populations such as aging voice, transgender / non-binary people, and/or professional voice users.
  • Prior research experience.
