Position Summary:
As a Network Manager at Palziv North America Inc, you will play a crucial role in directing and overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure. This position involves a wide range of duties, including technical support for PCs, administration of systems, management of information systems, cybersecurity measures, and programming of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- PC Support:
- Oversee software installations and configurations.
- Resolve technical issues related to PCs.
- Manage local equipment acquisitions to ensure optimal performance.
- Systems Management:
- Administer VMware and other server platforms.
- Manage firewalls, networking equipment, and switches.
- Identify and deploy innovative systems.
- Oversee procurement for servers and associated infrastructure.
- Administer Active Directory.
- Handle Linux system administration.
- Information Systems Management:
- Serve as a Business Intelligence (BI) super user, guiding users and defining their needs.
- Act as an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) super user, assisting users in understanding system functionalities.
- Engage in the search and implementation of new information systems.
- Collaborate with BI and ERP developers when available.
- Cybersecurity Management:
- Assess cybersecurity risks and implement effective solutions.
- Manage current security measures.
- Identify and integrate new security systems.
- Develop and oversee cybersecurity protocols in alignment with risk management strategies.
- HMI Programming:
- Program Human-Machine Interfaces, such as Cimplicity.
- Facilitate effective communication between human operators and machines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in IT management roles.
- Strong grasp of cybersecurity risks and management practices.
- Expertise in systems administration, networking, and HMI programming.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BI and ERP programming.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and procedures.
