Facilities Maintenance Associate

At School Administrative Unit 24, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team working second shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm).

The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of John Stark Regional High School. This is a full-time position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $43,000 per year, based on the New Hampshire Department of Education's average custodial salary range.

This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of school facilities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial or maintenance work, and possess a strong understanding of health and safety protocols. They will also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required.

• Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain classrooms, corridors, and other school areas;
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors;
• Empty trash and recyclables;
• Restock supplies and materials;
• Maintain inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies;
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
