About the RoleWe are recruiting MRI Technologists across various hospital locations within the Orlando Health system. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing MRI scans while producing high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
This role requires strong technical skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. You will need to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care. Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process, adhering to MRI safety principles.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize image quality, reduce radiation exposure, and improve patient throughput.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in MRI technology and modalities, applying new knowledge to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida.
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting, preferably with MRI experience.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
