QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for the position of Housekeeper should demonstrate outstanding work ethics and possess the ability to engage with seniors in a compassionate, respectful, and considerate manner.
A Housekeeper must be proficient in both spoken and written English to ensure clear understanding of simple notes and verbal instructions, facilitating effective communication with Residents.
Physical capabilities include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 40 pounds, as well as the agility to navigate the facility promptly and assist Residents during emergencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough cleaning of each Resident's room weekly, adhering to the cleaning techniques and quality standards set forth by the Maintenance Director and company policies.
- Perform daily cleaning of each Resident's bathroom, including the disposal of trash.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas of the facility on a scheduled or as-needed basis, following instructions from the Supervisor.
- Remain vigilant and aware of any situations that may present safety hazards to Residents or staff, reporting such observations immediately to the Supervisor.
- Execute job responsibilities in compliance with safety regulations.
- Participate in all meetings and training sessions as requested by the Executive Director or Supervisor.
- Be flexible and available to work additional times, days, or positions as requested by the Executive Director or Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned periodically.
