We are seeking a highly skilled Pyschologist to join our team at YesCare. As a Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing direct clinical services, consultative services, and supervisory services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine behavioral health services, including intake assessments, individual and group interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Provide crisis intervention services, including consultation with institutional staff and medical staff, as well as inmate self-referral.
- Assist in effecting movement to appropriate settings when patients' mental status indicates they are a danger to themselves or others.
- Document all clinical encounters and significant behavioral health information in the Electronic Medical Record.
- Collaborate with Psychiatrists and nursing staff to monitor patients receiving psychotropic medications.
- Provide training in human behavior and mental health issues to institutional staff.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs.
- Provide clinical supervision to behavioral health staff.
