Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Normal, IL. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images of the heart and its functions using ultrasound equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging and Data Collection: Use ultrasound equipment to examine heart valves, chambers, and record images.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for examinations by checking equipment, managing inventory of supplies, and reviewing patient schedules.
  • Image Analysis: Acquire quality Stress Echo images according to physician standards and record examination information by printing graphics and data.
  • Communication: Explain procedures to patients, answer their questions, and provide assistance during examinations.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or a graduate of an accredited school for non-invasive cardiovascular training program.
  • Certifications: Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) – Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
  • Experience: Minimum one year recent experience in a similar role.
  • Licensure: Current state certification or state license.
