Job Opportunity: English Teacher at Glendale Unified School District

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified English Teacher to join our team at Glendale Unified School District. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and delivering instruction to students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Deliver instruction to students in a clear and effective manner
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Experience working with students in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
